Zelda 128

Finally, we've seen the unveilment of Gamecube(GCN). With it we saw some greatly looking tech demos. But few were as astonishing as the Next Generation Zelda Game.

In the pictures we can see that both Link and Gannondorf are battleling each other. We noticed that each character is very, very detailed. In this demo we see effects such as flowing hair, moving eyes and mouth, leather gloves, real-time sword reflections, authentic 3D models for the clothing, the shield, the walls, also look at the battle weary-esque sword of Gannondrorf(cool, he).

The tech demo was to show the attendatns of the past Spaceworld the power of the GCN. It was made by the Miyamoto team(EAD) in a short time period. Anyway remember that this game wont probably hit shelves untill 2002. So imagine how EAD can polish the game more.

Back at the demo we can have some hints here. First lets take a look at the Hero, Link. We can see that he has the Master sword so this means that the game will take place maybe between Ocarine or link to the past.

Also Gannondorf also looks very, very detailed and almost the same as Ocarina of Time.

This tech-demo looks amazing; but we'll have to wait ntil the next E3 in L.A., California in May to see if the man himself, Shigeru Miyamoto can present a gameplay demo. However I have high hopes for this on since its already running in real-time on Gamecube's hardware. If theres no Zelda at E3 then lets wait for Spaceworld 2001. Anyway, we need to have patience. Lets wait until the BIG N shows their cards. So for now, enjoy this AMAZING demo.
