Nintendos Gamne Cube has 3 ExT ports on the bottom: a high-speed port a small-sized Serial Port (2) at the side of the console a wide Serial Port (1) for network adapters.

Nintendo didnt reveal their plans for the High-Speed port ort Serial Port 2, the showed off their internet connectivity.

 

56K Connection

Conexant created this 56K dial-up modem specificaly for Nintendos GameCube. The modem will allow players to play onlie games and trade info on a regular phoneline.

 

Broadband Connection

Conexant has also created this Adapter for Broadband support. It will serve the same as the 56K but allows players to use a DSL/Cable line to go online.
