Last week a new logo surfaced on the net, it was said to be Nintendos ne GameCube logo. But it was just a rumor, until now. Planet GameCube staff have seen the Nintendo booth at the Los Angeles Convention Center and this logo is official. The logo is made up of three main parts: The letters G, C and a cube in the center. it seems Nintendo liked the N64 logo and kept the box look. |

Recently Capcom held a press conference to speak about their different franchises on PS2 and DC. When asked about Residnt Evil Zero for GameCube the only thing they could reveal was the mail logo. Masushi Sugimura of Flagship Capcom actually wrote the script a while ago and was asked to change it around a bit. The Zero in the logo is actually a mathematical symvol for "empty set". While no screen shots or video were shown at the event hopefully more will be announced and shown at this years E3. Click here to see the logo See todays Resident Evil Zero preview by OniLink15 |

| The GameCube is now seeing a delay as was announced at a management briefing in Japan. The GC was supposed to be launched in Japan in July but has been pushed back to September 14, 2001 and November here in the US. The problem seems to be the cost of the chip being created at a NEC factory. Nintendo will reveal the price of the console in May 5 days after it reveals GameCube to the public at E3. | ![]() |
